Speech Language Pathologist Assistant- Modesto CA (School Setting)

Job Summary

We are seeking pediatric-passionate Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to provide therapy services to children in the Modesto, CA area in a school setting. You will also be documenting all patient care, observing and participating in treatment, and adjusting goals and milestones as needed for the best possible outcomes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of speech pathology, is able to provide compassionate care to every client, and has excellent organizational skills.  

Responsibilities 
• Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy sessions tailored to individual needs, including articulation, language development, and social communication therapy.
• Support children’s intervention programs by implementing therapy activities designed to improve speech and language skills.
• Prepare therapy materials, assist with data collection, and document client progress accurately in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
• Maintain a safe, engaging environment that encourages participation and motivation during therapy activities.
• Stay informed about current best practices in pediatrics, anatomy and early intervention strategies relevant to speech therapy.

Qualifications
• Experience with pediatrics and early intervention programs.
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy related to speech production, and medical terminology supports accurate assistance during therapy sessions.

Work Environment & Schedule

• 32 hours per week (typically aligned with school calendar).
• Caseload of approximately 50–55 students across multiple school sites.
• Work with 6th – 12th graders

Salary and Benefits:
Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 hourly
