Speech Language Pathologist – Pediatric Clinic – Stockton & Tracy

Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to do in-home and clinic based Early Intervention therapy at our pediatric outpatient clinics in Stockton and Tracy. This role involves evaluating and treating children 18 months to 3 years old with a variety of speech, language, feeding, and communication needs. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, collaborative, and passionate about helping children reach their full communication potential.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric patients 18 months to 3 years old
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
- Provide therapy for articulation, phonology, expressive/receptive language, fluency, voice, social communication, and feeding (as applicable)
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with clinic policies and payer requirements
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate families on treatment goals, strategies, and home programs
- Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and payer regulations, including HIPAA
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric outpatient therapy
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to build rapport with children and families
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience treating pediatric populations in an outpatient or clinic-based setting
- Familiarity with standardized pediatric assessments
- Experience with feeding and/or early intervention (preferred, not required)
- Bilingual skills a plus
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems
