Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to do in-home and clinic based Early Intervention therapy at our pediatric outpatient clinics in Stockton and Tracy. This role involves evaluating and treating children 18 months to 3 years old with a variety of speech, language, feeding, and communication needs. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, collaborative, and passionate about helping children reach their full communication potential.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric patients 18 months to 3 years old
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
  • Provide therapy for articulation, phonology, expressive/receptive language, fluency, voice, social communication, and feeding (as applicable)
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with clinic policies and payer requirements
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Educate families on treatment goals, strategies, and home programs
  • Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and payer regulations, including HIPAA
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric outpatient therapy
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build rapport with children and families

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience treating pediatric populations in an outpatient or clinic-based setting
  • Familiarity with standardized pediatric assessments
  • Experience with feeding and/or early intervention (preferred, not required)
  • Bilingual skills a plus
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems
